Lorraine MacDonald
Transformational and Solution Focused Coach
I have been a business entrepreneur for 30 years plus, working in management, finances and human resources. My career change came about when I felt like I was in a whirlwind and did not know what direction my life was going anymore. Working in the financial part of business was not fun for me anymore. After some research and knowing that I have always had a desire to help people more, I decided to pursue a coaching career. I have a real understanding of the complexity of people and appreciate their uniqueness. Therefore I feel excited and confident as I know I can help people in transition. I love coaching and seeing what my clients can create for themselves just by me asking powerful questions. My clients are able to find their inner strengths and create a plan of action to move forward. We work together to ensure their outcome that is in alignment with their core values.
When my clients can tap into their physical, intentional, emotional/relational and spiritual being, they can become who they really want to become or be who they want to be!
I grew up in a small town in the Ottawa Valley and am one of thirteen children. That being said you can understand the various dynamics and personalities that a large family encounters daily. I've learned what is really important to me in life and I greatly value family, love, passion for life and taking one day at a time! I still live in the Ottawa Valley with my husband of 40 years and we have three grown children, two grandchildren and one on the way. I am a very fun loving, compassionate person and I love being outdoors. I enjoy working in my garden, swimming, golfing, cross country skiing and walking. Spending time with my family is a top priority and I love cooking a big dinner when everyone is together. Community involvement and volunteering is also important to me.
